After all, it's everybody for themselves and Mario Party Superstars is a culmination of this. Anyone can pick up a controller and play Mario Party yet it takes a certain level of wit to succeed. The concept of a board video game flourished with the usage of mascot characters, addictive minigames, and in-depth mechanics. Of the various Mario spin-offs, Mario Party is arguably one of the most prolific with over 10 games in the main series.
